
About Us
Dancecrazy Studios offers after school & weekend training with professional tuition from highly qualified teachers, teaching children from as young as 3. Dancecrazy Studios primarily teach the ISTD and RAD syllabus. We are proud to be an Acrobatic Arts certified studio. Dancecrazy Studios also been accredited with licenses in both Pirouette and Leap Surgery and RADAR technique, these teaching methods are incorporated into all classes.
All students perform in our biennial summer show, they also have the opportunity to perform at a range of events throughout the year. In addition, we have a competition team for those who display ability, commitment and overall desire to represent Dancecrazy Studios. Many of our pupils perform and compete both locally and nationally, including competing at high level competitions such as All England Dance National Finals & Dance World Cup.
We are proud to have student, Tamara Smart, starring as Enid Nightshade in the CBBC TV series, The Worst Witch, as well as her main role in Nickolodeon's 'Are You Afraid Of The Dark', and starring role in the BBC's drama 'Hard Sun'. We are also extremely delighted to have pupils who have performed in the West End's Billy Elliot, Lion King, Annie, School of Rock and Matilda. Recent graduates are currently working in the industry, performing on a variety of cruise ships and shows, as well as choreographing and teaching. We are proud to have numerous pupils further their dance and musical theatre training at leading dance colleges including; London Studio Centre, Bird College, Italia Conti, Arts Educational, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Bodyworks and Urdang Academy.
Our Teachers


Nicola Thompson AISTD dip - Principal
Nicola has been dancing since the age of three and became the All England National Tap Champion at age 5. Nicola's performing attributes cover TV and theatre work, such as Blue Peter, Sky TV, The Big Breakfast, Noels House Party, Wrigleys Chewing Gum and Kiss FM adverts. Nicola was also one of the original Crown Jewel Cheerleaders for the London Monarchs, choreographer and assistant to world known magician Clifford Bradley, and choreographed several variety performances with Wayne Sleep, Bonnie Langford (Eastenders) and Cheryl Baker (Bucks Fizz) at Her Majesty's Theatre, Haymarket, London. Nicola is an extremely passionate and fully qualified ISTD Tap, Ballet and Modern teacher. Nicola is also a certified Acrobatic Arts teacher and has also been accredited with Rosina Andrews' Pirouette Surgery License and Leap Surgery License. Along with completing Rebecca Davies' Radar Technique teacher course, such methods have allowed Nicola to focus on the scientific process of turns and leaps, and the development of various techniques, which are incorporated into all of her classes.
Grace English - Dance Teacher
Grace graduated with a BA (Hons) Ballet Education Degree at The Royal Academy of Dance. Before moving to London, Grace studied at Inchicore College in Dublin where she completed her Diploma in Ballet Dance Instruction and Modern Dance Education. Grace has also completed her Advanced 2 Modern (ISTD) and Advanced 1 Ballet (RAD). Grace teaches Ballet, Modern and Contemporary at various dance schools in London and Ireland.
Grace has performed with CoisCeim's Youth Dance Company and The Core Dance Company. Her most notable achievement was a three week Eremus placement in Grenoble, France, in which she choreographed a dance piece that has since been performed across Ireland in prestigious venues such as ; Dublin Castle, The Aviva Stadium, Belfast City Hall, The Lyric Theatre, The Mill Theatre and at Inchicore College for special guest, the Minister of Education.
